Do I Need a Permit for a Shed?

As each community has different requirements, check with your local building department to determine if you’ll need a permit before having your shed delivered.

Will Someone Check My Yard to Help Determine What Size Shed will Fit?

Yes. After placing the order for your shed, we are available to visit your home and verify access to the site. You tell us what you want to achieve, including placement and orientation, and we’ll confirm that this is possible. This step ensures that there aren’t any unwelcome surprises when your building is delivered.

How Long Until My Shed is Delivered?

If you select one of the many buildings we have on our lot, delivery can usually be arranged in four to five business days. For sheds that are custom-built to your specifications, please allow four to six weeks. Sometimes buildings are available sooner, but this is a good rule of thumb.

Does my Shed Come Painted?

Yes, the building’s walls, trim, and doors are all painted.

Can I Get Custom Paint Colors?

Yes, for an upcharge the building can be painted to match your home.

Can I Get the Doors Moved to the End of the Shed?

Yes, doors and windows can be placed anywhere you’d like them. Custom placement is often helpful if you have specific views you’d like to capture or avoid. Likewise, doors can be moved to either end of the shed to make access easier for your individual site. In most cases you can also add doors and/or windows. Just tell us what you’d like and we’ll help figure out the best way to achieve your goals.

Do You Provide Blocks to Level the Shed?

Yes, we do, and these are included in the price. Our job is to deliver and set up your building so it’s ready to use. We also include a sturdy ramp with your installation so you can drive mowers, bicycles, and other items into your shed immediately.

Is Delivery Included in the Price of the Building?

Absolutely! The price you are quoted includes everything you’ll need to enjoy your new building on your property. The complete building, custom paint, any special options you’ve chosen, delivery, set up, leveling, and an access ramp are all included in one price.

Do You Deliver Off Cape Cod?

Yes, arrangements can be made for off-Cape shed deliveries. For deliveries in areas beyond Cape Cod, we charge mileage from the Bourne Bridge. Stop by or call us for specifics.

Do I Have to Pay in Full Before Delivery?

No, typically, we collect a deposit when your order is placed. This secures the building is in your name. The remaining payment is due when your shed is delivered, placed on your lot, leveled, and installed to your satisfaction.

I Don’t Want a Truck Driving on My Lawn. Can This be Avoided?

Yes, it can. When a shed is to be situated at the end or side of a driveway, the delivery truck doesn’t need to drive on the grass. However, if you would like your shed placed behind the house,  we use a motorized “shed mover”—a specialized piece of equipment designed just for this purpose. Either way, your lawn will sustain minimal impact.

Do You Provide Financing Options?

We offer a Rent-to-Own program from BLI. For more information you can visit them on the web at www.blirentals.com.
